In the stillness, of all simplicities enveloped into the living, what do you hear? Is there really any silence, or just constant noise, produced both internally and externally?
Right now, I hear breathing. We all do it. Breathing is life, individual lives and personas between each of us. Spaces between each of us. Life is powerful, to invent relationships between us is even greater.
If I feel the stillness long enough, I can sense my heartbeat. Something given to me, likewise with every person at birth.
If you could hear thoughts, you would listen to worries and concerns. An unending composition, almost always returning to a single question.
People are delicate, there’s no room to hurt each other. What do you hear in the stillness? And were you ever really alone?
So I just figured out a way for my close Mexican friend and I to talk through our phones even though neither of us have international plans. So I text her e-mail, and she’s able to reply with her phone. This makes me very happy! Because she has always been a very good friend to me since I met her on the cruise. :)
All is well here at college. So much work. Having fun while I can. :)
